Last year, the Pacific Festival was a pleasantly surprising curveball for Orange County. I thought to myself, “a massive festival coming to our peaceful streets with Steve Aoki as a headliner? This isn’t something you see here everyday.” The difference this year is that the event is being held at the Oak Canyon Ranch, recent home for shows like Lightning In A Bottle and 420 Fest. It is much bigger when compared to Costa Mesa’s Triangle Square, allowing a more comfortable and safe experience for all attendees. For 2011, Dim Mak and Collaborative Media are bringing us an even bigger lineup, which is still growing. The event will feature 4 stages, food, art, and music from over 35 DJs and bands. Grab some free tracks and find out more information about the event, including a list of who is playing after the jump!
Cut Copy, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Ghostland Observatory, Phantogram, Toro y Moi, Bag Raiders, Zeds Dead, The Twelves, Classixx, Fred Falke, Afroman, Zoot Woman, The Growlers, Hanni El Khatib, Jacques Renault, Bird Peterson, Whitey, Superhumanoids, Poolside, Autoerotique, Mustard Pimp, Ali Love, Bang Gang Deejays, Mr. White, The C90s, Justin Miller, Cosmic Kids, Them Jeans, Dan Sena, Posso, American Royalty, Kedd Cook, Wishengrad, Frankie Wilde, ///BONES, Sweatpants, Steffi Graff, Scorpion Breath, Brady Miller, Morgan Collett & more added weekly.
As you can see, this lineup is no joke. Pacific Festival is gaining massive amounts of popularity and will be one of the few up and coming festivals in California. Make sure you attend this year and see what all the hype is about. You will NOT regret it!
