REVIEW: PeaceTreaty @ Voyeur – 12/30/11

We’re stoked to announce another edition to the Raw Goodage fam. Johnny (not to be confused with our other writer Jonathan) is going to be covering all major shows in the SD area and is kicking off his debut with a review from PeaceTreaty at Voyeur the other night. Check it out after the jump!

On the eve of the biggest party in San Diego, I decided to head over to Voyeur to check out PeaceTreaty. Some notable artists were in attendance; Hardwell, and Bart B More, just hanging out and having a great time before they left thousands of party-goers in awe as they rang in the new year at OMFG! in the Sports Arena. As Clockwork was finishing his set with his notable remix of Avicii’s “Levels,” PeaceTreaty was ready to take the stage. If you follow EDM and live in southern California, then there’s a huge chance you’ve already listened to PeaceTreaty. Their set was jam packed with remarkable energy and the crowd partied until the lights came on. They played originals such as “Change” and threw down their top remixes, like the relatively new Diplo track entitled “GO.” Another notable track of the night was Dada Life’s new weapon “Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker.” LED Presents was gracious enough to bring San Diego a treat before they threw arguably the biggest presentation of EDM at their event OMFG! for NYE 2012. The show at Voyeur was the perfect pre-party to the NYE debauchery. Angelo and Josh wowed the crowd for a solid 90 minutes with their tenacious big room house sound and even had a “one more song” chant going to finish it off. On Saturday, these dudes rang in the new year at the Grove in Orange County, but on Friday, San Diego belonged to them.
