At just 20 years old, Médéric and Alexis of Normandy’s BeatauCue are just getting started. The two have seemed to go through somewhat of an identity crisis over the last few years. Their remixes of Noob & Brodinski’s “Peanut Club” and “Pon De Floor” were among my favorites at the time, giving French house a whole new meaning. However, they certainly took a liking to dubstep since then, a recent example being their take on M83’s “Steve McQueen.” The remix package also features diverse works from SALM, Maps and Alluxe, while BeatauCue adopt a more wobbly route. They clearly demonstrate a skillful ability to tackle any genre they please.
