Dutch duo Showtek debuted a premature version of “Slow Down” late last year, and we were there to experience it live at Nocturnal Wonderland. Months later, it finally gets a release via Dim Mak as a part of the Crunk/Slow Down EP. The powerful melodic chords are consistent in both versions, but it seems that the pair did a little bit of work on the drop, making it even more effective than before. Though some have made it publicly known that they miss the “old” Showtek, they have proven time and time again that they are capable of producing some of the biggest house tracks, while continuing to incorporate their signature hardstyle specialties.
